On our last day the girls woke up early as usual but this day they were dragging some. They were very tired and we decided that a nap was in order if we were going to make our plans that evening-and we WERE making our plans that evening. :)
They had breakfast outside on the patio.

Then we headed back to the beach. The waves and current were a little more rough on this day for some reason. As you can see Reese is very comfortable in the water. She kept scaring us a little. (That was the view behind us. Not the nasty road or seawall but beautiful condo's)

Daddy was nice enough to let us bury him in the sand.

We then headed back to the condo for lunch and a much needed nap! Everyone woke up rested and we headed to the pool and then to dinner on the strand. We ate at a place called Gumbo Bar and it was AMAZING! I'd drive back that way just for their gumbo again. We took the girls to La King's Confection store also. We went there as a kid and it's just a old, fun, neat place.

We then stopped by Murdoch's on the seawall. The place had been completely rebuild since the hurricane and they have this neat open air area where you can sit and look at the water. It was so peaceful and beautiful.

And with that our trip was pretty much over. We had the best time for our first little family vacation. Everyone did great on the trip and we can't wait to take another one...maybe a little further away this next time. :)
