Chop Chop

We went ahead and cut Reese's hair today. It was so long and stringy. I wish we had gone a little shorter but it looks a lot better.

Saige also got a trim. Nothing major but we just tried to get rid of that mullet look she had working. Heres a before shot of her about to get it done. It doesn't look that different either. We're trying to grow it out so shes in the in between stage. :)

Saige and her babies

Saige LOVES her babies. She now goes into her room and gets a diaper, wipes and lays them out on the chair and wipes them. She says "baby poo-poo?" and checks the diapers and tries to wipe them. She also sleeps with them, takes them in the car and stores. The other morning I found her sitting there with all these babies and was playing.

Merry Christmas

We had a fun LONG Christmas. We went to church, my dads, the next day we did Santa, our christmas, Aarons family, and then one with my mom and sister. Heres a few shots from Christmas eve. We all had a wonderful time.

SANTA CAME!! We had a fun morning. The girls slept in (WOO HOO) til 8am. Then we woke up to see what all Santa brought. He brought Reese and Saige a big kitchen and Reese got a bike, keyboard, and an ariel set. Saige got a ride on toy, high chair and a baby that crawls, cries, and laughs. Reese went RIGHT for the Little Mermaid set. She could of cared less about the bike or the kitchen (Grrreat!) haha.

Saige loved her baby and Reese's bike.

After seeing what Santa brought we did breakfast and then did our christmas. I wrapped up a baby Jesus doll and we opened that first. After opening that we read a childrens board book about why we do gifts at Christmas and what Christmas is all about. We gave Reese a fur-real puppy. She later told me that she was glad God gave her the puppy (I guess because God gave us Jesus?) haha

.
We went to Nana's house later and the girls had a blast. Poor Saige was very sleepy by the time we got home for MORE christmas with my mom and sister. She was cranky and crying (NO nap) but caught her second wind by the time the gifts came out. Reese was mostly interested in opening them over and over. She kept saying "more more". The girls were very spoiled and blessed this Christmas.

So sweet!

Both of my girls are very attached to their babies. Reese still has one but doesn't need to take it everywhere anymore...just to sleep. The other day Saige was crying in the car asking for her baby. I told her it was at home and she cried harder. Reese happen to have hers in the car (which she never does) and said "here Saige want to use my baby?" I nearly melted right there. How sweet to offer her most important thing in the world to her younger sister?!?!! I hope shes always this sweet and thoughtful.

Almost forgot to add the way it ended. Reese handed it to Saige and Saige threw it and said "NO not Reesie baby" Ahhh...sisterly love! haha

School Party

Reese's school had their Christmas party this week. It was a lot of fun. They sang songs and got to visit Santa. Then they went into their classroom and had pizza and cookie decorating. All the kids wore their shirts made by the teachers and kids. They made reindeer shirts from their hands and feet. So so so cute!

The morning for us was totally nuts. The girls sleep really late and I hate waking them up so I let them sleep. Then they woke up and we rushed around crazy getting ready. In the rush I forgot to pack Reese a change of clothes for school. I went into the room and noticed her fancy new red boots sitting on the back desk...then I noticed a small bag near her backpack. Uh oh! An accident! When I found her she was her ugly pants that were way too big for her with socks and NO shoes! How embarrassing! My poor baby went through the rest of the day with no shoes. I nearly died. Then to top if off her teacher had to help me carry the girls to car because Reese couldn't walk.

On a different note we got a gift from her teacher. They gave the kids these beautiful little pots decorated as Joesph, Mary, and baby Jesus. They are awesome!

Her class seeing Santa! (notice Reese has no shoes on!)

This is the sweet shirts the 2 year old classes made. I love it!

Her little class. The little blonde next to her is her buddy at school.

Having their pizza and as you can see Reese LOVED it.

I thought this was a cute craft she made at school. She usually only tells me a toy but she gave her teachers real suggestions.

Decorating her cookie.

Dance Party

Reese's dance class had a small Christmas party complete with lots of yummy snacks and a book exchange. Ms. Margo also let us know that we will know what they're costume looks like after Christmas. I can't wait to see it! The girls got to vote on the song they wanted to dance to and its Girls Just Want to Have Fun! That should be pretty darn cute.

Here are the girls in class!

Here they are passing the books.

Gingerbread House

We were at target and found a ready to make gingerbread house. How fun! Aaron wanted to be a part of the fun so we did it one evening after dinner. (He was going to do this ALONE while I was out shopping. Later when we saw how it went he was very glad he waited and did it with me hehehe) The girls honestly had little to no interest in actually decorating the house. They only wanted to eat everything. I would try and smooth out the icing and Saige or Reese had their fingers in it and licking the icing. I finally gave up and let them eat more of it than decorate. Isn't that half the fun anyway?! Heres a few pictures of our fun.

My little precious moments doll

I've had random people tell me Saige looks like a little precious moments doll. At first I thought maybe because her face was so round but now I see its always those sweet blue eyes.

Christmas Family Night

Reese's school had their Family Christmas night. We went up there and they had people singing Christmas music and doing bells. There were 4 crafts for the kids to do and then a cookie to decorate and of course eat! YUM!! They also had a giving tree set up (more for the church members I assume) and we took a childs angel off the tree. It was a lot of fun.

Doing crafts...

This craft was my favorite. Reese did it all by herself and even drew the face on. Shes getting so big!!

A reindeer Pary

We got invited to a sweet little girls birthday party and how cool is it that she had REAL REINDEER there. Reese kept calling them camels? Don't know where that came from. But the party was a blast.

Polar Express

We had such a wonderful day yesterday going to the polar express. The girls were perfect on the way up there. They colored, read books, and talked to each other. We stopped at Buckey's (aarons favorite stop) on the way up there and everyone was able to get out and stretch their legs. The girls didn't nap though. Saige almost fell asleep but was uncomfortable in the car so she woke back up. We arrived to the train depot way too early so the girls got a little cranky after an hour. We were able to get a snack, watch the movie, walk around, see the gift shop and check out the train before we got on though. Saige was crying and crying waiting in line and we were a little afraid she would ruin someone else's experience. But once we got on the train it was nothing but fun. I bought the cutest matching pj's for the girls to wear but decided not to put them in it when the time came. It was so cold and I just thought they looked warm in their regular clothes. We would of had a coat on anyway so you wouldn't of seen how cute they were.

The train had music, cookies, hot cocoa, North Pole, Santa, singing and dancing staff, and sharing the book. It was really so much fun! I asked Reese what her favorite part was and to my surprise it was hot chocolate. I think she felt like a very big girl drinking it.

We stopped at Whataburger and ate and headed straight home. I don't think we were in the car two minutes before Saige passed out. Reese stayed up about an hour but fell asleep too.
