Homemade Birthday Cards

A sweet friend of ours (Emma) made Reese a homemade birthday card and I just loved it. It was so cute that I started copying :) We made several cards the other day and had a blast doing it. We got out stickers, glitter glue, markers, crayons. It was like a big craft day making all of them.

Bath time fun with Daddy

We've started doing baths in our tub because Saige can't get out on her own. She was in the habit of getting in and out and trying to run (naked and wet) through the house. :) Tonight Aaron gave them a bath and he likes to turn out the lights and have them turn on their light up Ariel doll. He went to hit the lights and shut the door and he heard Reese say "OH great" She must of thought he turned out the lights and left the bathroom LOL!!!!!

(and yes, we know that this amount of water is too much. Daddy got carried away HAHAHA)

Teddy Bear PJ Day!

Reese's preschool did a Teddy Bear PJ Day. All the kids showed up in their PJs and got to bring a friend with them. Reese wanted to wear her ariel PJs (shocker) and wanted her pink monkey to come. She sleeps with about 5-10 dolls/animals every night and the monkey is always in the group. She said they ate popcorn and teddy bear cookies. I'm sure it was a fun day! We love her school.

Naptime Fun

Well we've come to that place where Reese has decided shes too big for naps. I was just letting her watch tv but that doesn't seem productive the entire time. So I found a WONDERFUL website full of letter activities, crafts, fine/gross motor activities. Its great! So after about 30-45 minutes of tv Reese and I sit down and do something fun together. We've made a queen out of a Q, did a dump truck valentines craft, U and theres so much more we can do. I enjoy having some alone time with Reese.

(and incase you're noticing that she has that pink dress on a lot-she does! Its her favorite and she asks to wear it almost every day. I have to sneak it into the washing machine LOL)

Winter time fun

Its been such a cold winter for us. I swear we didn't go outside for a few weeks. I needed to find a way to keep the girls happy and active so of course we brought ALL of our outside riding toys into the house and let them ride their bikes, scooters, etc in circles on the tile in our house. Aunt KK also bought us a cool toddler trampoline that has gotten a TON of use. I am sure ready for flip flop, sundress weather.

Saige and her babies-part 2

Saige LOVES her babies. She feeds them, rocks them, sings to them. What a good little mommy she'll be. One thing I find funny...Saige grabs the baby bottles and calls them "WATER BOTTLES" Its probably because she never got bottles. WTG Saige!

And I threw one of Reese is because she was making baby food.

Four Seasons

Reese's school had their Four Seasons celebration today. I was able to volunteer too. They went to a summer station where they played with beach balls and some other fun things, Spring was digging in dirt with fake bugs, Fall was raking leaves, playing in hay, throwing the football and farm animals and Winter was fake snow, snowball fights, hot cocoa. (I worked winter and fall if you couldn't tell from my description LOL) But Reese had fun playing with her friends. Heres a few shots! Saige was able to hang out with me too. She LOVED it. Shes so ready for school.

Reesie is going to be a flower girl!!

One of my oldest, dearest friends asked me and Reese to be apart of her wedding. We went to the bridal store to try on dresses and Reese was able to try on a few also. First we tried on a "normal" one, then a big one (she screamed bloody murder when we took it off), and then this one. She loved prancing around and being a princess. Saige found herself a fancy purse while we were there and carried it around most of the time. I love having girls. Fun fun!!

Movie time

I took Reese to see the Princess and the Frog over Christmas break. It was one of the best movies ever! The music, their accents ALL of it. It was Reese's first time to ever go see a movie so it was very exciting. She got all dressed and wore her princess dress and wanted her hair pulled back in a bun. (I'm going to need to work on those!) We left for a 1140 showing at the local theatre. We arrive and there is a strange long line? We waited and waited and the nice lady informs us that the first showing isn't until 210!! UGH! They have a church that meets there so nothing starts until after noon. How annoying. It wasn't online that way. So I tell Reese we have to get back in the car and she burst into tears. :( I ended up driving past copperfield to find a theatre that was showing it. We completed our movie with a big popcorn, candy and sprite. She sat on my lap during most of the movie and when it was over she leaned towards me and said "kiss me my frog." I love this kid.
