I love my family!
Aaron is training for the MS 150. He rides his bike a lot lately but recently he road (in strong winds) for 50+ miles. He did great and we are very proud!
Saige can write her name, now colors with her sister a lot, and actually SITS for a tv show. She loves Olivia! It's very cute!
Reese is doing great too. She still pretends A LOT with animals mostly. She has such a vivid imagination and uses it a lot. She colors and draws all the time. Reese can also do a pretty good cart wheel. She lands it and everything. :) I ordered some books (similar to what was in our reading library at school) to start working with reading. She is also very excited about kindergarten. I can't get over how grown up she is. I'm sure i'll keep saying that over and over!
catch up...
December and January have been a blur. I looked at my phone and realized I left a few things out.
We had a little sleep over. Our first one. I bought pizza, cookies, snacks. The girls played Just Dance and had fun. The girls had a BLAST!!
The big girls slept in Reese's room and the little's slept with me and poor Aaron was on the couch. Aren't they sweet?!
This was a funny picture of Reese. She is such a little star! She loves performing. Her Papaw said school plays may be in her future and I think he could be right. LOL!
I recently added a few things to the girls rooms.

It has begun...
We were sitting on the couch watching American Idol with the girls. We have never watched this show with them. It was really fun sitting with the girls watching a show we could actually watch. I kept hoping nothing bad would pop up and so far so good. Reese was SO into the show, almost in a daze staring at each person. She would clap when the made the cut too. One younger boy comes on. I suppose he was 15 since you have to be but looked young. She hadn't said a word in a while and all the sudden pipes up with "He is very handsome and I think I'd like to marry him."
So, it has begun. I think I may cry.

Santa and Christmas Day
We had so much fun this Christmas. I really enjoyed shopping for the girls. Maybe a tad too much. The girls were so funny when they woke up to see what Santa brought. I figured they would go nuts over the giant pink car sitting in our living room but they hardley paid any attention to it. Bummer. Reese was ALL OVER those my little pony dolls. (her new favorite thing around here). And Saige was a little timid about all of it. I had to walk her over to see her new things. They eventually noticed their new ride and have asked to drive it daily.
CHOP CHOP
The girls got new hair styles! THEY both asked for short hair. Reese said she didn't want to fix it anymore. She HATED having to have her hair brushed, pulled up or back. Now we can brush it fast and go. Plus I think it looks great on her.
Saige wanted her hair like her little buddy's! I always thought she had thinner hair but I was wrong. She just needed a proper hair cut.
Look at these sweet girls!
Christmas fun
This month we have had a lot of fun. We had a very LAST minute christmas party at our house for the preschool volunteers at our church classroom. If you know me at all, this is so out of my comfort zone, not to mention I didn't know but maybe 5 out of the 30 that came. But it was honestly a lot of fun and I was so glad I opened our home up. It really took some stress off of two families.
We went to visit Santa. This year we skipped the normal mall Santa and went to Bass Pro Shop. It was super fun. The line moved so fast and the picture was FREE!!!! That's my kind of Santa trip. Saige was doing great, not scared, waiting in line. But as soon as we got closer she got more timid. THEN, he spoke to her. She lost it at that second. HA! Another classic photo.
Reese made us a sweet gift in her class. I almost cried when I saw the "to mommy/daddy" signs she put on them. She is really getting so big. She can write a few words and even read 5 or so sight words. Soon I won't be able to spell words. Darn! :)
She made us a bible cover. I love it!!!
A friend and I took our girls to the movies to see chipwrecked. It was cute. Saige isn't a movie watcher but she did ok. Thankfully the theatre wasn't full. I was also armed with skittles and popcorn.
We decorated cookies and caught up with old friends.
We went christmas light looking in a great neighborhood with our church community group. Hayride, cocoa, treats and all. It was a blast. Sweet Reese fell asleep while we were looking at lights. She was wiped out!
Christmas Tree farm
Reese's preschool class went to a christmas tree farm in early December. The weather was great for a Christmasy event...nice and COLD! We got to go on a hayride to look at all the trees, drink hot cocoa, have a cookie, play in a maze and some hay. Lots of fun was had by all the kiddos!I really enjoyed our little day together one on one. Reese and I don't get it often and with kindergarten fast approaching I can use some Reesie time!
Here are a few pictures...
