This is how we spend our mornings. We bring Saige to our bed and hang out for a while. She is a total parrot and will repeat anything you tell her so I was having fun :)

Pumpkin carving
We carved a pumpkin with the girls. I say "we" but as you can see it was all Aaron. Last year Reese wouldn't touch the pumpkin but this year she dove right in and helped us scoop out the seeds. Of course Saige didn't like it at all (see her face near the bottom LOL) The girls loved the pumpkin when we lit it up. They thought it was so cool. We sat and watched it for a while and they both cried when I put "Jack" outside.

Cupcakes
We have eaten some form of cake for 4 days straight. There have been birthday parties, halloween treats and sharing neighbors. I think the girls are thinking its becoming a staple in our diet. Tonight in the bath Saige said "cake-cake" in a little question voice. I believe she was thinking "hey mom you forgot my daily cupcake? Whats wrong with you?" hahaha! I told her No cupcakes today. Heres a sweet picture of Saige eating cake at a cool pirate birthday party taken by Kelley.
New dance class =lots of fun
We tried a new dance class last night after talking to some other moms who have taken dance. Reese's other class was very serious and just was a lot of pointing. The teacher barely smiled or seemed to not enjoy working with little ones. We found out about another place through a friend of a friend. I am so glad we called and checked it out. They don't normally do trail classes but offered one to us since we weren't happy at our current studio. The teacher told me that this lcass wouldn't be normal because they were doing a little halloween thing. I was so happy-it was exactly the type of thing I wanted to see. All the little girls were in costume (well almost) and they practiced a dance to Thriller then "preformed" for the moms and dads. Then they had a Halloween treat...cupcakes, cheese crackers and juice. YAY! The teacher was sweet, cheerful and seems to like her job. I think we've found our fit. Reese told me on the way home that her teacher talked like Ariel so that means she must REALLY like her. haha

Sweet girl
Yesterday I was cooking and trying to take some chicken out of the oven. I heard Reese sort of whining for me to come get her. Yes, my 3 year old won't get out of her bed without me saying its ok. Its strange but at least I don't worry about her getting up and playing and walking around the house. haha. Well I yelled really loud "Reese mama's cooking come out and see me" and she wouldn't. Finally when I put the food down and went in and she was sitting there making a very sad face and had tears running down her face. I asked her what was wrong and she lost it. She cried and said "it makes me sad when you yell at me" Poor girl! Shes so sensitive. I tried to explain that I wasn't yelling AT her but was just yelling so she could hear me. She didn't understand and was upset. haha

Renaissance Festival
Reese went with my mom and Charlie to the Renaissance Festival on princess weekend. She had a lot of fun. I wasn't too sure about her going since it can be a drink fest. But they told me that it wasn't like that on Sunday morning. She was able to ride some animals, get a princess hat, and play games. The rest of the day when she got home she was acting out things she saw at the festival.
