Crafts and more

I've decided to start using my early childhood knowledge for some good. haha I found a really simple curriculum online with books and crafts etc. This week we're learning all about flowers. This morning we read a book called This is a Sunflower and made sunflowers with our handprints and then glued real sunflower seeds in the middle. I was going to end it there but Reese kept saying "lets do more lets do more" so we did a little sequencing activity as well. Then we went outside and played in our sensory tub I made for her (also on the website). She can't get enough of it. Saige even enjoyed playing with it. She did try to eat all of the seeds though (yuck) Reese calls it her garden and played with it for an hour last night and again for half an hour this morning. Shes going to love school next year. Gymnastics Fun

Today at gymnastics they had a jungle celebration complete with a medal and all. It was a jungle theme and all the whole place was so cute. First they jumped with balloons, and then did all their flips and then the balance beam (Reese's favorite), then played at the mountain and then got their medal. We even took a picture with Ms. Margie the teacher. Reese loves her to pieces. Heres some pictures :) Enjoy

BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried doing this month by month and its not in order AT ALL. I'm too tired to fix it. So heres a bunch of random pictures of Saige. (I'm mad)

SInging like a rock star

Nathan came over to play today. As Kellie was packing up to leave Reese and Nathan put the chairs in the playroom beside each other and started singing in microphones. It was so cute. I only caught the end of it.

Happy Birthday Saige

We had a wonderful party. Saige was blessed with lots of friends and family. We did a cupcake theme and she had a little tutu on. She got lots of great gifts but I think her favorite was the new car. She sits in it all the time now :)

(I feel guilty if I make a post about Saige and not Reese. I'm gonna have to get over that)


When we put Reese to bed at night she always tells me "I need snuggles" and I lay there and we kiss and talk...its awesome!! And when shes ready for me to leave she looks at me and says "Leave mommy" haha

But the other night I heard her in there singing very loudly for someone who was suppose to be going to sleep. She was reading her Little Mermaid book and singing LOUD like Ariel. It was super funny and sweet!

She has started repeating things too ...

the other day she touched the oven and I said "hot" (our oven only gets warm not hot) and she was walking around saying "hot hot hot hot" after that.


Oh and she gets a car and will say beep beep and make that car sound that little boys make when they play vrrroomm??? something like that. haha

When we put her on the changing table to get changed she will start to cry a little and then wiggle her pointer finger at me and say NO NO NO...I bet shes going to be head strong :) haha


And she picks up a doll and will try to sing rock a by baby (I always sing it when we play dolls).

Sigh........shes growing up :(
