First time for everything...

New things we did this summer...

We went bowling as a family. So fun! But one game is good for my little bowlers. :)

We rode the ferry over to Crystal beach.

Saige learned to color in the lines and that she enjoys coloring. All summer the girls have colored, drew pictures, cut, glue. Reese even snuck over and put little notes on the doors of several neighbors.

Reese learned to vaccum and Saige cleaned chairs for me. Such little helpers.

Saige tried coffee...and liked it. Oh no!

We made S'more cookies and they were DELISH!!
My kids tried Dairy Queen for the first time. Reese was so confused as to why they had burgers and ice cream. She kept saying this isn't an ice cream place. Spoiled thing is used to fro yo!

Reese went to a big church VBS this summer.

Sisterly love

The girls have played their hearts out this summer. They have become closer this summer. They would play all day long and then beg to sleep together at night. I heard several sweet conversations like " let's be REAL friends" and of course as a mom it makes me so happy. They love and LIKE each other. I just pray that sweet relationship continues to grow.

I think Saige is going to really miss her sweet buddy come next week. A lot of changes for all of us indeed!

More summer fun

We made english muffin pizza's! The girls love helping me in the kitchen.

The dance parties we have had are just too much fun. They are constantly dancing and in costume.

We went to see Pinkalicious as a musical. It was SO cute!! Saige loved this one.

We celebrated a pretty cool dad!

I made them a chore chart...which they like by the way :) Score.

We found a snowcone place by our house. It is the best snowcone ever. The ice literally seems like ice cream.

Hanging with friends

Got a sweet "nephew" puppy named Ace. He is precious and super smart!!!

Had a slumber party complete with nails, easy bake oven, movie, pizza, chocolate. Love all these sweet girls!!

Family bowling :) We had a blast!

That is summer so far. We are enjoying our time together :)

Summer fun part 1

This summer we have quit all activities to just go with the flow. It has been nice and still busy. We have played in water, slip n slides, went to swim parties, had homemade car wash (and bike wash), did some pinterest crafts, gone to a local play, and a chick fila visit to see Olivia.

This pool looks fun in theory but blowing it up was a beast and don't get me started on letting the water out. It hasn't been used much after this picture was taken. ha!!

Slip n slide fun! The girls weren't sliding right so I showed them how and I thought I almost broke a rib. Getting old is no fun folks. But it worked...they got the idea and started having some fun :)

Memorial Day swim party! Love all these kiddos

Local jr college play. Saige did not like it and asked me never to take her to see anything like that again. In her defense it wasn't great. haha!

We washed my car. Girls LOVED this and we must do it again. Such a great way to break the day up, do something outside and entertain the monkeys.

We had a friend over and they did a fun pinterest craft with glue and food coloring.

We were so excited to find out Olivia was coming to a local chick fil a. But when we got there Saige wouldn't "meet" her. She enjoyed the story though.

Dance Recital Day!

Getting pretty nervous about going on stage!!

But she rocked it!!!

This was right after. Girlfriend was excited!!!!!

Overall it was a great afternoon. We had lots of fun but when I asked her if she wanted to keep doing dance I got a very stern NO. LOL!! We have some pretty cute dress up clothes now though?!?!
