Dance Videos

We have Saige's recital tomorrow. It's going to be fun fun! I never got to upload the older videos of her dancing in the beginning of the year...so here are a few :)

These are pretty old but she was pretty nervous to do her dances. The day she had to dress up for Halloween she cried and didn't want to go. Performing made her nervous. (click the words and the video will open)

I wasn't so sure how she'd do on the "big stage" for rehearsal. When she was nervous she would look down and put her hand in front of her mouth. But she did awesome!!! She didn't seem nervous at all! I can't for tomorrow when she's all dressed up!!

Super Hero Preschool Program

The girls school did a superhero themed sing along show back in May. Super hero as in God's our real super hero, not super man.  The songs were precious! Like God is mighty, H E R O God is my hero, etc. Watching all the little preschoolers dressed up was super cute! They sang their little hearts out.

Day Three of vacation...Zoo and River walk

On day three we went off to the San Antonio Zoo, river walk and Alamo. Total tourist. :) It was so fun going to a new zoo. I know our zoo like the back of my hand so going some place new is always fun. The zoo was very pretty!

Reese got to climb on the rope like a monkey :)

They have hippos!! If you look closely at the next two pictures you can see him underwater, and his nose on top. Super cool to see!

They have this crazy cage thing where you go in and buy nectar and FEED BIRDS! I thought I could handle going inside but these birds are smart and know that people come in with food so they land on you. On your shoulder, arms, I seriously screamed and left. It was super freaky. But I don't like birds. AT ALL! But look, this angel does. She let them get on her and fed them. She is such a sweet sweet girl who loves animals MORE than anyone I know. This was her heaven.

On to the river walk. It was hot and they were tired but we did it. We found the boat rides and took one. I love the river walk.

Reese was very interested in the story behind the Alamo and why it was there. She might just be my history buddy.

Every evening we went down to swim at their awesome pool, which I didn't take ONE picture of. The very last night our family enjoyed s'mores by the fire.

All in all it was a great trip! :)

Vacation Day 2

Our day at Sea World was fun. We weren't real smart and didn't get a stroller for the girls. BIG mistake. Reese did ok but Saige was very tired and wanted to be held a lot, which made US tired. But we started the day off with a few shows. We wanted to make sure we saw the shows before it got too crowded and late. Our first show was the sea lion show. Very cute and entertaining.

Pretty early on the girls started to complain that they were hot so we bought them hats to protect their head. Very smart (and expensive HA!...total rookies when it came to amusement park planning) They girls loved watching this big water slide. From where they are standing you could get splashed. Can you believe Saige would have been allowed on that thing! Reese wouldn't even consider riding it.
We then went to a Shamu show. Fun times and some how we lucked out on getting wet. I was glad but the girls weren't. The whales were beautiful of course.

Finally we made our way to the little Bay at Play area where they have kid rides. We rode a small roller coaster and they loved it, especially Saige. She loved the speed, turns, and drops of all the rides. I think she's going to be a little dare devil.

Reese was able to ride a "real ride" but Saige couldn't because of her height. :( We had to wait for them to go by. Reese loved it.

We dragged our hot, tired selves to the dolphins at the very end. I can not express the joy my girls shared while feeding these beauties. Reese didn't want to leave.

Vacation day 1

We went to San Antonio for a few days for our vacation. We couldn't have planned the dates better. Nothing was crowded because most kids still had school but it was hot enough to enjoy the water. We took off and our first stop was Natural Bridge Caverns and Wild Life Drive. We LOVED the caves. Even the girls loved them. They looked so neat!

I wish we could say the same about the safari drive. It was pretty pricey and we had maybe two animals come eat from the car.  Most were hoofed type of animals that were just laying on the side of the road looking at us silly people begging them to eat our food. ha!

The zebra's were very cool though and one even smiled for me.

We ended our day with checking in the hotel and lots of swimming at the pool. We let Reese go down a slide (that she wasn't tall enough for) and she got a pretty nice bump and scab on her head. Oopsy.
