Brown Bag and Easter

We went to a KSBJ Brown Bag concert in Tomball. The music was really great but the best part was watching all the kids dance and sing to praise music.

Reese got really into it and was singing to Jesus. I just love her sweet little heart!

We decorated eggs

We made Resurrection Rolls for breakfast and celebrated the empty tomb!

We did Resurrection Eggs to discuss the Easter Story. We did Easter baskets. The girls got one toy, one devotional book. Reese was pretty excited because it was a "real bible" without pictures like an "adult" .

And hunted a few eggs...

But mostly we celebrated the fact that Jesus Lives!

Bluebonnets

This was the last time I tried this. Probably for good reason. It is HARD to get two kids to both look, sit, smile. I think this was 2010.

Now for this year. It was super sunny.

Still sunny...and chewing on hair. :)

Gymnastics

Reese takes gymnastics every week. She really enjoys it and we enjoy watching her grow and learn :)

Posh Cookie Field Trip

Reese's school took the 4s and Bridge class to Posh Cookie for some cookie making fun. They got their own little ball of cookie dough, cutters, sprinkles, and icing. Each child was able to make about 4 cookies if they did it right. It was SUPER crowded but lots of fun.

We then went on to the park for a picnic and playing. Reese's teacher took them on a walk and helped them dig in the mud to find doodle bugs. How fun is she??

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood puts on an Easter Egg Hunt at our park. They have snacks, baby bunnies, face painting, train rides, and a variety of games. Of course there is the Easter bunny too. The girls had a blast and we are thankful we live in such a nice place that puts on a great event.
