Happy Mother's Day!

I sometimes feel like I should celebrate Aaron on Mother's Day. I even thought about making him a poster to show how much we love and support him during the busiest weekend at the restaurant. But I couldn't decide if that was weird and decided against it. I was thinking about fun things we could do this year to make Mother's Day fun, different and maybe just maybe memorable. I had a thought that since it was going to be my mom, sister and girls we should be girly. Then I thought about how fun it would be to do something girly on Mother's day since Aaron will never really be around. We can do things we wouldn't normally do with him. So I decided to celebrate Mother's Day in a girly way and will do so from this day on.

Aaron woke up early and had the girls take me to get donuts. They gave me a very cute card with their sweet little voices recorded and a coffee mug and frame where they wrote on it. It was perfect and very thoughtful! It is now my favorite mug!!!!

We went to church, lunch at Aaron's and then we went to Tutti Frutti. It was SO good! I got a cheese cake yogurt with fresh strawberries. Reese got something pink and Saige ended up with a tart blueberry (surprising!). We went home for naps and BOTH girls napped...yay! We then went to get pedi's. We were walking in and Saige was so excited she didn't see the sidewalk curb and it hit her shins and she fell down causing her toe and knee to bleed. Ouch! But true to form, was good in 5 minutes.

The girls went in and picked their colors and got to sit in a chair and get their feet scrubbed, lotion, toes trimmed and painted. They were SO happy! Saige was so still and loved every single second of it. Reese must of asked the girl a million questions. They just giggled at my girls and really did their nails up. They both got glitter and flowers added to their fingers and toes. Precious!

Kara and I snuck in a really awesome run today also! BEST day ever! My girly day thing is a hit and we will enjoy this new tradition for years to come I hope!
